Memorial
"LIVE Memorial By Sandra Arnold-Cody
Almighty God, before whom stand the living and the dead, we your children, whose mortal life is but a hand’s breadth, give thanks to you: For all those through whom you have blessed our pilgrimage, whose lives have empowered us, whose influence is a healing grace…
For the dear friends and classmates whose faces we see no more, but whose lives are with us forever…
Everyday in some small way
Memories of you come our way.
Though absent, you are always near
Still missed, loved and always dear.
Your presence I/we miss,
Your memory I/we treasure,
Loving you always,
Forgetting you never.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God can tell us why.

The Way We Were
(Barbara Streisand)
Memories light the corner of my mind.
Misty water color memories
Of the way we were.
Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind,
Smiles we gave to one another
For the way we were.
Can it be that it was all so simple then,
Or has time rewritten every line?
If we had the chance to do it all again,
Tell me? would we? could we?
Memories may be beautiful and yet,
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget.
So it's the laughter
We will remember,
Whenever we remember
The way we were.
